Dominique Levesque – Regional Vice President, Eastern Canada
Dominique Levesque is the Regional Vice President of the Quebec Division for Staples Advantage. The offices and the distribution center are located in the suburbs of Montreal, in Boucherville, close to major trunk roads that facilitate product distribution to the entire Province of Quebec, the region of Ottawa in Ontario and across Canada if necessary. The division also has a furniture showroom (CEBI) located in Montreal.
With its 150,000 square feet of space and its voice recognition system (P2V), the distribution center is able to carry out more than 12,500 lines of orders per day and ship 5,000 parcels daily.
Dominique joined Staples Advantage in April 2009. Prior to coming to Staples Advantage, Dominique had been working since 2000 at Protectron Security Services and occupied various positions, including Vice President of Canadian Operations. Before joining Protectron, she founded her own consulting firm specialized in business turnaround and e-commerce strategies. Previously, she was President-General Manager of the Electronic Commerce Institute. She worked in the United States as well as in Europe in the electronics industry namely at Future Electronics and Avnet EMG. She began her career at Imperial Tobacco where she worked mainly in the information technologies division.
Well-known speaker and leader, Dominique is a member of the Board of Directors of the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital as well as Rosemont College. She was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal. In 2004, she was honoured at the “Tribute to Remarkable women – The art of Success”.
Dominique holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Quebec in Montreal and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Sherbrooke.
Dominique likes to relax on the golf course during the summer and on the ski slopes during the winter season.
