Andrea Wilson - Director, Customer Experience & Sustainability
Andrea Wilson is Director of Customer Experience & Sustainability at Staples Advantage, with its Canadian headquarters in Mississauga, ON. In her role, Andrea's primary responsibility is developing, establishing and managing consistent best practices that will provide a delightful, world-class customer experience, across the country. Andrea provides direction for both the Customer Care and Continuous Improvement teams, to ensure that all employees are living the Staples Advantage vision: "We will be the number one office supplies business in Canada by putting the customer at the heart of everything we do".
Andrea joined the Staples Advantage team in January 2003, as the Quality Manager for Ontario division. She was instrumental in introducing initiatives such as Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to the organization, and played a lead role in the company achieving ISO14001 in less than 4 months. In April 2005, Andrea was promoted to the Director of Customer Care and recently added the company Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives to her mandate.
Prior to Staples Advantage, Andrea worked in the automotive manufacturing industry, and has been able to adopt some of these manufacturing best practices to the service industry. She holds an Electrical Engineering degree and a Masters of Business Administration.
Andrea's favourite motto is: “there has to be a better way”, and her passion is her husband and 3 daughters. She loves to scrapbook, but with other conflicting priorities, seldom finds the time to get this done.
