Scott D’Cunha - Director, Marketing & Communications

Scott D’Cunha is the Director of Marketing & Communications for Staples Advantage, with its Canadian headquarters in Mississauga, ON. In his role, Scott’s focus is to drive all Marketing, Communications and eCommerce activities within Canada, with a goal of building the Staples Advantage brand through better understanding the needs of organizations and building Marketing and Communication programs to serve those needs effectively.

Scott joined Staples Advantage in 2008, and brings over 15 years of marketing and management experience, across multiple markets and industries. Prior to joining Staples Advantage, Scott spent almost five years as a management consultant with a major multi-national consulting organization, focusing on delivering Strategy & Transformation projects across the retail, government, energy, lottery and entertainment sectors. Through his career, Scott has worked across North America and Europe.

Scott received his BA (Hons) in Economics from Lancaster University in the UK, and his MBA from the Schulich School of Business, York University. Scott also holds a Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), and is an accredited Chartered Marketer (UK).

Scott resides in Oakville, Ontario with his wife and three young children, and enjoys travelling, tennis, Scrabble, reading ancient history and listening to 1980’s British pop music. Scott also serves on the Board of Directors of the Oakville Literacy Council, a charity dedicated to helping adults improve their literacy skills.
