Joan Pace – National Program Manager
Joan Pace is the National Program Manager - PMO responsible for leading Acquisition Integration and Strategic initiatives in Canada while establishing Project Management methodologies, governance, tools and processes. She partners with the Canadian Executive Team to locate and prioritise opportunities that align with corporate strategy & goals. Her recent accomplishment is leading the successful integration of Corporate Express Canada Ltd into Staples North American Delivery and Staples Canada Inc and continues to look for synergies within the cross-functional business areas.
Joan joined Staples in 2008 and brings over 15 years experience in project management, consulting, and management in diverse industries including Retail, Telecommunications, IT, and Finance overseeing domestic and international initiatives. She has worked in many cities across Canada and Europe.
Joan has a Bachelor of Environment Studies from York University, a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the Schulich School of Business, a PMP designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI), and an Executive Leadership Certificate from Cornell University.
She is a volunteer for Junior Achievement and an advocate for green/eco initiatives. She has also volunteered as a Mentor in PMI’s Mentorship program. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends.
